Join our friendly team! We seek positive, kind, and responsible volunteers to help us maintain a clean and welcoming environment for our guests.
We are currently fully staffed with wonderful volunteers thru March 15, 2025. New applications will be accepted starting in January 2025.
Volunteers are an important part of the Phoenix Hostel & Cultural Center.

Volunteers must have a positive attitude, love travel, be adaptable, culturally literate and be able to work in a communal environment. Our volunteers will mainly support the hostel by cleaning, doing laundry, yard work, and occasionally helping with maintenance and improvement projects.

We offer: Private room with bed, desk, shared bathroom, wifi, air conditioning, laundry, and shared hostel kitchen with free breakfast.
​
We request: 15 - 20 hours/week with 2 days off each week. Schedule is mainly 10 am - 1 pm. Non-smokers only.

*Volunteers must be comfortable working with Trans/LGBTQ community, able to work with women and non-binary leadership, uplift Black / Brown women's leadership, and support migrant rights. All volunteers must have an an anti-racist practice and be committed to social justice.
