Bus route information to and from Sky Harbor Airport, Phoenix Botanical Gardens, Popular Hikes, and the Musical Instrument Museum.
Hostel to the Botanical Gardens (50 min.)

Make sure you have plenty of water

Exit the hostel onto 9th street, turn left and walk to Moreland
-
Turn right and walk to 10th street.
-
Turn left and cross the bridge. Continue walking to McDowell.

The bus stop is on your right. (If you need water and snacks turn left and walk down to Walgreens)

Take the #17 bus to 64th street/Galvin Parkway
-
At the back of the bus top you will see a foot path that will take you to the Botanical Gardens
Hostel to North Mountain (1 hour.)

Make sure you have plenty of water

Exit the hostel onto 9th street, turn right and walk to Roosevelt
-
Turn right and walk to 7th street. Turn right.

The bus stop is on your right (If you need water and snacks turn left and walk down to Walgreens)

Take the #7 bus to North Mountain Park (About 45 min)

The park is across the road
Hostel to Camelback Mountain - Echo Canyon (1 hr 30 min)

Make sure you have plenty of water

Exit the hostel onto 9th street, turn left and walk to Moreland

Turn right and walk to 10th street.

Turn left and cross the bridge. Continue walking to McDowell.

The bus stop is on your right (If you need water and snacks turn left and walk down to Walgreens)

Take the #17 bus to 44 street
-
Cross the street and take the #44 bus north

Exit the bus about half a mile after the bus makes the right turn

Continue to walk up Lincoln Drive.

The entrance to Echo Canyon will be on your right
Hostel to Piestewa Peak (1 hour 45min)

Make sure you have plenty of water

Exit the hostel onto 9th street, turn right and walk to Roosevelt

Cross the street, to the bus stop (If you need water and snacks turn right and walk down to Circle K)

Take the #10 bus east to 24 street
-
Cross the street and take the #70 bus north
-
Exit the bus at Piestewa Peak Drive
-
Walk up Piestewa Peak Drive about half a miles
Hostel to South Mountain (1 hour 45min)

Make sure you have plenty of water
-
Exit the hostel onto 9th street, turn right and walk to Roosevelt

Cross the street, to the bus stop

Take the #10 bus east to 24 street
-
Cross the street and take the #70 bus south
-
Exit the bus at Baseline. Pick up water and snacks here.

Continue walking south on 24th street until you reach the Mormon Trail head park ( about a mile)
Airport to The Hostel (30 min)

Take the Skytrain to the 44 street terminal
-
Walk over the bridge to 44 street light rail terminal

Cross Washington to the north side ,

Take the #1 bus to the downtown bus terminal

Take the #10 bus east to 9th street ( I think #1 bus changes to #10, ask the driver)

Walk north on 9th street
-
The hostel is the on the left side of the street.
Greyhound to the Hostel (30 min)

Cross the street to the North East corner

Take the #70 bus north ,

Exit the bus at Roosevelt

Cross the street to the North West corner

Take the #10 bus to 9th street

Walk north on 9th street.

The Hostel is on the left side of the street
Hostel to Car Rental Center (40 min)

Exit the hostel onto 9th street, turn right and walk to Roosevelt

Cross the street, to the bus stop

Take the #10 bus east to 16 street

Take the #16 bus south

Exit the bus at Buckeye
-
Walk east. about 10 min. on Buckeye, to Sky Harbor Circle
-
Turn right onto Sky Harbor Circle. This is not the most pedestrian friendly street.. Walk about 10 min. past the Car Return Only sign, until you see the sign Visitor Parking. Follow the sidewalk on the right to the Car Rental Center.
Hostel to the Musical Instrument Museum ( 2 hours)

Make sure you have plenty of water

Exit the hostel onto 9th street, turn left and walk to Moreland

Turn right and walk to 10th street.

Turn left and cross the bridge. Continue walking to McDowell.

The bus stop is on your right (If you need water and snacks turn left and walk down to Walgreens)

Take the #17 bus, east, to 44 street
-
Cross the street to the South East corner and take the #44 bus north
-
Exit the bus at Mayo Blvd

Cross Tatum Blvd. The Museum is on your left

Walk about 100 yds. west on Mayo Blvd.. Take the foot bath on your left. When you get to the parking lot you will see the entrance on your left. Definitely not very pedestrian friendly.
